California Flower Art Academy has been engaged in educating uncountable number of people who want to earn skills of floral decorations. No matter whether his/her purpose is for hobby or business, we can provide training according to his/her specific requirement. Our unique way of training based on person to person instruction (close to semi-private lessons) greatly helps entry level of students to acquire practical skills of flower arranging.
Some people learn for enjoying and appreciating their own designs and decoration at home. Some people learn for running their own florist/floral shop. Some people learn for becoming Wedding Floral Decorator and some for instructing their students. We offer a broad range of courses and lessons from European floral art to Japanese Ikebana, Fresh Flower to Dried/Silk Flower Arrangement, Elementary to Instructor Course, Entry level to Professional level classes. According to advertising done by some floral schools, it sounds like students can easily earn flower arranging skills from internet education. Quite frankly speaking, this sounds too optimistic. As far as they learn theory and concept, it could work out. When it comes to practical skills and techniques for arranging flowers, it is said to be impossible or extremely difficult.
Our school adopts small class system limiting maximum number students only six (6) per class so that we can offer hands on training to each student and keep the quality of lessons. You can start from Introductory Trial Budget Program for only $69 (including flower materials). This is provided for you to evaluate our way of instruction and the quality of our lesson. If you feel comfortable with our lesson, you can roll over to Fresh Flower Arrangement Elementary Course. Most of students follow this procedures to reduce “risk” . If you live in Greater San Francisco (Peninsula including Daly City, Burlingame, Millbrae, San Mateo, Foster City etc) or Silicon Valley (South & East Bay including San Jose, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Saratoga, Milpitas, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Gatos etc), we recommend you to join California Flower Art Academy. Lessons are available not only on weekdays but also on weekend to support busy people like you.
